Website Development Process

Step One: Information Gathering

We will provide you with a form with key questions about your website needs and ideas.

Step Two: Written Estimate and Contractt

Once we will have your completed form, we will get together with you to clarify any questions and define the scope and cost of the project. We will send you a written estimate and contract.

Step Three: Gathering Content

Before we can build the site, we will need you to provide the text, logos and images. We can assist in writing or editing text, and finding or manipulating images.

Step Four: Site Architecture

We will organize the content and navigation to enable the user to find information easily.

Step Five: Page Layout

We will present you with a full-color design and layout for the home page and one interior page based on our conversations.  We will likely have several rounds of modifications before you give us the final approval to move forward.

Step Six: Building the Actual Pages

At this point, all pages have been approved and no further modifications should be needed. The site will be built as agreed.

Step Seven: Final Testing and Launch

Once you are satisfied with the site it is ready to launch.

Step Eight: Maintenance

All sites need to be updated periodically to keep them fresh, up-to-date and search engine friendly. We can work on an as needed basis.

Step Nine: Promotion and Search Engine Optimization

In order to drive business to your site, it needs to be optimized and regularly submitted to search engines.  This process takes tweaking and monitoring on an ongoing basis.
